Comiket mornings are won the night before — the Ariake hotels within walking distance of Big Sight fill first the moment dates are announced, with some nights already full half a year out. Central Tokyo has rooms; the walk-to-venue pool is its own battlefield.
Bookings shift at every circle-lottery and entry-ticket result, and even walk-distance rooms come back around free-cancellation deadlines.
